Liquid to Vapor Subsystem for Solar Applications

A developer of liquid delivery subsystems came to CollabraTech for a solution to convert liquid to vapor as part of the delivery system for use in a high-performance solar cell manufacturing line. This was new territory for the customer. It sought guidance on liquid-to-vapor conversion technology, controls, tetraethyl orthosilicate, and trimethylaluminum handling. Ultimately, the customer needed a production platform with controlled and consistent delivery technology so that it could upgrade an existing solar cell manufacturing line to perform the new process. Utilizing project management discipline, CollabraTech developed a phase-gated development plan, managing the execution of engineering and manufacturing deliverables to supply a fully automated PLC-based (programmable logic controller), production-ready tool for critical gas delivery.
